Dr. Nick Bianchi, F.I.S., B.SC. (KIN), D.C.
Dr. Nick is a graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic, Summa Cum Laude, in March 2002. Becoming a Chiropractor was a lifelong dream of his since he injured his ankle playing soccer when he was 14 years old. All of those months in rehab convinced that helping people to heal was what he wanted to do.
Dr. Nick utilizes many approaches and techniques including manual therapy, Activator, exercise therapy, muscle work and cranial mobilization. His background in sports & athletics, as well as his current duathlon training program serve his athlete patients quite well. Dr. Nick loves to explain nutrition and exercise in an understandable and real manner. He is also enjoys coaching his clients to help uncover and remove the barriers to their goals, hopes and dreams.
Dr. Nick believes that Wellness Education should form an integral part of a patient’s healing process. He holds regular lectures & workshops, maintains a weekly blog, has a facebook Coaching for Fitness & Wellness page, is invited to many external speaking engagements and writes frequently to the newspapers.
When not in the office, you can see Dr. Nick teaching fitness classes at the gym, running or riding his bicycle. Dr. Nick has a passion for knowledge and particularly enjoys learning about the body, nutrition, exercise, stress, psychology and spirituality. He is always looking to better himself as a person and a practitioner.
Dr. Nick grew up in Toronto, attended school at Guelph, New York State and South Carolina. He and Dr. Marie practiced in Toronto for 1 year, Calgary for 5 years, and have been in Bracebridge since April 2008. They have two children and look to do outdoor recreation such as hiking, canoeing and snowshoeing.
